At Mr. Alaen Driving School, we provide a safe, private, and supportive environment for drivers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming to master advanced driving techniques, all our driving lessons are based on the choice of hours invested.
Our full curriculum comes in three different stages, and once students graduate from stage one, they move to the next:
1. Car Control – Basic Training
Car control is very basic training. It’s the comprehension on how to operate and control the vehicle.
2. Defensive Driving – Intermediate Training
Defensive driving is intermediate training. It is reactionary driving; it’s being able to know what’s the next step to keep themselves safe should a dangerous situation arise on the road.
3. Predictive Driving – Advanced Training
Predictive driving is advanced training and is unique to our school. It’s proactive driving. We can predict other drivers’ behavior on the roads, so they can avoid getting into a potentially dangerous scenario.
- All packages include hands-on preparation for the Road Skills Test, conveniently offered at our facility, with lessons tailored to your schedule, goals, and comfort level. Ready to take the wheel for the first time? Our 4-Hour Beginner Driving Program is the perfect way to start your journey. You’ll enjoy two easy, 2-hour lessons in a safe, dual-control vehicle with your own friendly instructor by your side.
We’ll go at your pace—covering the basics like starting, stopping, turning, and developing smooth physical control of the car, along with any basic skill you want to learn. Choose weekday or weekend sessions that fit your schedule, and enjoy free pickup and drop-off for total convenience.
By the end of the program, you’ll feel calm, capable, and excited to continue your driving journey with confidence and independence.
Program – 6 Hours
Continue to develop physical car control!
No matter the student’s skill level, every program is designed to begin with essential fundamentals such as vehicle control, smooth turns, proper braking, and core driving basics. In three private lessons, students continue building on their beginner knowledge. Each lesson reinforces these fundamentals—vehicle control, steering, lane positioning, smooth turns, and basic maneuvers—while introducing focused practice on skills like parking, three-point turns, and precision lane positioning. This structured approach ensures a gradual increase in skill and confidence.
Lessons are customized to each student’s pace, helping them feel prepared and ready for more complex driving situations.
Program – 8 Hours
Gain real-world driving experience!
No matter the student’s skill level, every training program is designed to start with the basics, including vehicle control, smooth turns, proper braking, and other fundamental driving skills. This program gradually introduces students to more complex driving scenarios. Lessons cover core skills such as steering, lane control, turns, and parking, while beginning defensive driving practices. Students progress at their own pace, and when ready, begin practicing lane changes and merging into traffic—building confidence step by step.
With flexible weekday or weekend scheduling and complimentary pickup and drop-off, getting professional training has never been easier.

Program – 12 Hours
Develop awareness and highway readiness!
No matter the student’s skill level, every program is designed to start with essential fundamentals, including vehicle control, smooth turns, proper braking, and other core driving basics. From there, students refine their skills and focus on situational awareness and safe driving habits. The program gradually introduces highway driving, more challenging traffic scenarios, and predictive driving techniques. Each lesson builds upon the last, ensuring students feel confident and prepared for a variety of real-world driving situations.
With flexible weekday or weekend scheduling and complimentary pickup and drop-off, learning to drive has never been easier.

From this foundation, students are guided into more advanced skills. This program is designed for students ready to elevate their driving, gradually increasing the complexity of scenarios. Lessons focus on defensive and predictive driving, highway navigation, and mastering challenging maneuvers. Students progress at their own pace, ensuring confidence and mastery in all driving conditions.
Lessons can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends, and complimentary pickup and drop-off is included for your convenience.
Plus, you’ll receive a proof of completion, often accepted by insurance companies for premium discounts. By the end of this course, you’ll be confident behind the wheel and driving like a pro!

Building on this foundation and previous experience, students gradually tackle heavier traffic, multi-lane highways, and advanced driving techniques. The program ensures step-by-step growth in skills, awareness, and confidence. Flexible scheduling and tailored lessons allow students to progress as they are ready, culminating in full control over diverse driving situations.
Lessons can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends for ultimate flexibility, and complimentary pickup and drop-off is included.

Advanced Program – 50 Hours MAX
State Required 50-Hour Minimum – Minors / New Drivers
Requirements for Obtaining a Florida Driver License:
If the applicant is under 18 years old, Florida law requires certification of at least 50 hours of behind-the-wheel driving experience, including a minimum of 10 hours of nighttime driving.
Course Overview:
Our 50-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Driving Program is designed to meet the state requirement for minors and new drivers, while building a strong foundation of safe and confident driving skills.
This comprehensive program covers every essential aspect of driving, including:
- Vehicle fundamentals and control
- Residential and light traffic navigation
- Main roads, heavy traffic, and highway driving
- Interstate and lane-changing techniques
- Parking (straight, angle, parallel, and reverse)
- Rare and challenging driving scenarios

- Typical Schedule: Completed in approximately 25 sessions (2 hours each)

3N3 4 – Hour Behind-The-Wheel Course
Four hour behind-the-wheel correction course. Course credit will be submitted to the state immediately upon completion of the course, usually completed in one day.
This package includes pick up and drop off from the location of your choice, correction of any habits that could potentially lead to a crash, and extended road test preparation.
We will submit course completion immediately to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
